Presently there are no Christian Universities in Northern Brazil. There are plenty of quality seminaries, but not a venue for Christians desiring to enter the professional work world to obtain a higher education with a Christian World View. This is the driving force for starting Amazon Valley University in Northern Brazil.
The first set of classes began fall of 2014 as a pilot program. Over 20 students enrolled for the first and second semesters.
The university is on hold until the right director is found.
